Question: What's up with Option Central Memberships?

Answer: For a number of years (since 2023), we've been experimenting with our membership plans. 

There are many factors at play here, which really are not relevant to our visitors and members. What we feel is relevant, is whether the cost of a membership and the value that it provides are aligned, with our members being the ultimate judge.

While we could say more at this time, in truth, we are still figuring this out. So, we're doing a number of things related to membership that are explained and updated on our Membership and News pages.

Question: My membership has expired, but I really intended to renew it. What can be done?

Contact Us and we will work with you to get your membership renewed.

Depending on when and how the Membership expired, we will either be able to reactivate the previous membership (using the "reduced" renewal pricing that we introduced in the Summer of 2025) or set up a Season Pass. The Season Pass is similar to a Membership, but will be for a specific amount of time.

Question: Will you still be adding content to Option Central?

Yes, we are adding content now and expect to be doing so in the future. 

For example, we continue to explore the types of content licensing and partnering programs that once enabled us to rapidly build video and audio content. Times have changed, though (we started licensing video content over 20 years ago) and in particular, the economics of licensing.
